Texas State Representative Joe Deshotel--22nd Legislative District

Over the years, serving as your State Representative,we gained greater economic development opportunities in Jefferson and Orange Counties.

In the 80th Session, I served as Chairman of the House Economic Development Committee and worked to ensure that job creation and the increased vitalization of the local technology industry receive proper attention.

During the 81st Session, I was honored to serve as Chairman of the Business & Industry Committee. We worked to serve the needs of consumers on workers compensation and balancing the needs of workers and industry.
